Our team members are passionate about art and creativity, and are committed to providing a fun and supportive environment where everyone can feel comfortable expressing themselves.

OUR STORY
SPLAT is the brainchild of best friends Juan Carlos Franco and Michael Chavez. Their 25yr friendship began at La Puente High School and continued to Santa Barbara where they attended college as UCSB.
After graduation, Michael went on to become a manager in the luxury goods and jewelry industry while Juan earned an MBA and went off to work in business marketing.
When COVID hit in 2020, Michael moved to Pasadena to be closer to Juan’s family, wife Erica and their two kids Julian (7) and Eliza (5) - forming a bubble of support throughout the pandemic.
After suffering through three years of COVID, they both felt burned out and ready to make a meaningful change in their lives. They realized that if they wanted to start a business like they always talked about, then the time was now. Together, they combined their skills and passion to create SPLAT, a splatter painting and action art studio experience for creative minds of all ages.

SPLAT offers hour-long splatter painting and action
art sessions for kids, adults, and groups. Our sessions are perfect for anyone looking for a stress-free way to let loose and express their creativity.
In addition to our regular sessions, we also offer private parties and corporate events. So, if you're looking for a unique and memorable way to celebrate a special occasion or just on the hunt for something new, fun and creative to do , SPLAT is the perfect place for you.
