At SPLAT Action Art Studio, students don’t just paint—they create through movement, experimentation, and self-expression. Using non-traditional tools like air guns, paint scrapers, splatter brushes, spray techniques, syringes, glitter, and more, every student creates something uniquely their own.
Unlike traditional art classes, SPLAT offers a high-energy, sensory-friendly creative experience that encourages imagination, confidence, and collaboration.

We know planning school field trips takes coordination. That's why we make planning simple for teachers, administrators, enrichment coordinators, and after-school programs.
Field Trip Details at a Glance
Group Size and Capacity
- Minimum group size: 10 students required for a 90-minute private field trip session
- Maximum group size: up to 30 students /active painters per session
- Designed to ensure every student has an engaging, hands-on creative experience
- Accommodates school groups of up to 60 (students + chaperones + teachers)
Chaperone & Teachers Guidelines
- Recommended ratio: one chaperone per student group segment for optimal supervision and support
- Chaperones are welcome to assist students, or observe
- No additional cost for teachers or approved school chaperones
Pricing
- $50 per student
- All materials included, including paint, canvases, protective gear, and tools
- No additional supply fees or hidden costs
- Only pay for participating artists. Teachers and chaperones are welcome to supervise and enjoy the experience.
Session Length
- Total experience: 90 minutes
- 60 minutes of guided, hands-on art creation
- 30 minutes reserved for lunch or snack time
Private School Field Trips
- All sessions are completely private
- Only your school group is present in the studio
- No public bookings during school visits
Transportation and Parking
- Street parking available near the studio
- Accessible for school buses, vans, and coordinated drop-off groups
- Clear arrival and departure instructions provided in advance
Invoicing and Payment
- Simple and school-friendly billing process
- Invoices provided for district or school approval
- Receipts and booking confirmations included
